Genesis Firearms Training, LLC was founded out of a desire to provide proper instruction on how to safely and accurately use a firearm. We serve as advocates for the sport of shooting, so that it can be enjoyed in its many forms. We further promote the need to be thoroughly trained in the operation of your firearm before it is ever used. For this reason, we purposefully limit the size of all classes to provide more individualized hands-on training.

Of the various reasons for purchasing a firearm, the one most often quoted is home defense. We are committed to training you how to safely and accurately use a firearm, and in so doing, stop a threat, should the need arise. Genesis Firearms Training, LLC has no interest in teaching anyone how to kill.

Our founder, Willie Joshua, is an NRA Certified Instructor, a California Department of Justice Certified Instructor and a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer. He has over 40 years of shooting experience, supplemented by additional performance pistol training.

We strictly adhere to a commitment to maintain an atmosphere of respect for all people regardless of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. Any rude or discourteous language and/or behavior toward the instructor or fellow trainees will result in the offender being asked to immediately leave the class. In such cases, there will be no refund of any portion of the fees paid.
